TUTORIAL; DEBBIE HARRY

I love Blondie so I did this look based on Debbie Harry's make-up on the 'Rockbird' album cover.

1. Do your base as normal with your foundation, conceal redness and spots then powder where you need it. Make sure to blend down the neck to avoid leaving foundation lines.

2. Fill your eyebrows in thick and heavy then brush through them to make the look softer.

3. Make them more pronounced by going around the edges of your eyebrow with a precision brush and concealer.

4. Smudge a black gel or Kohl liner over the eye lid in a winged shape, leaving the first portion of the eyelid free of any colour. Now smudge some along the bottom lash line also leaving the inner corner free.

5. Use a warm brown colour over the outer corner and blend with a fluffy brush into the crease.

6. Blend the same warm brown colour into the lower lash line all the way along to the inner corner.

7. On the inner corner of the eyelid add a pale bronze or silver and blend into the black.

8. Highlight the brow bone with a pale shimmery colour eye shadow.

9. Line the waterline with a Kohl or gel liner, then along the upper lash line blending it into the eye shadow.

10. Heavily contour the cheeks, jaw, forehead and bottom lip with bronzer.

11. First put on lip balm and then line the lips with a dark nude or brown lip liner, then fill them in.

12. Blot the liner onto a tissue.

13. Blend concealer into the lip liner from the inside of the lip towards the outside.

14. Cover the lip in a clear gloss to add shine.

15. Finally add mascara and some more powder if you need it.

If you would like to go extreme 70's you can add bright pink blush to the cheek bones and glue on some false lashes.

DIY INTESTINES

We were given a zombie project at college and I made intestines for the costume so I thought I'd just put how I made them on here.

1. Find a long, flat, smooth surface and wipe it over with Vaseline then wipe it off again with a dry cloth so there is only a thin layer left.

2. Fill a jug or something made of plastic or glass, big enough to put a large paint brush in it, with latex then paint a thin layer of latex across the flat surface, approximately 15 inches wide.

3. Use a red poster paint to paint red stripes through the first layer of wet latex or maybe grey or purple paint depending how decayed you want them to look then let it dry, if in a hurry use a hair-dryer.

4. Continue to add layers on top of each other till the latex is thick enough.

5. Roll up kitchen roll so its thin like intestines then gradually roll the latex up around the kitchen roll careful not to tear it and wind into the shape of intestines.

6. Add greasepaint around areas for things such as discolouration and shading.

7. Once finished, wipe down the surface, pour the remaining latex back into the bottle and leave the small amount left to dry then peel it out then throw out the brush.

8. Don't forget to make an awesome zombie costume to go with your amazing insides.
